First step is to get a wrench because there are some bolts holding them in.

"But even lower sales won’t stop the Chevrolet HHR, which looks like a downsized 1949 Chevy Suburban, from recording its second-best sales year."

Second best sales year? This is only the second year that they have been sold!

Autoweek had this "best guess" about the HHR's future, they have been wrong before!
HHR: GM will add a turbocharged HHR SS for the 2008 model year, featuring a 260-hp four-cylinder engine.

The HHR will be freshened for the 2009 model year; a redesign is slated for the 2011 model year. Much, if not all, of the retro styling theme is expected to be abandoned.

In this case the name HHR needs to be dropped. It is no longer an HHR without the retro styling.

The difference between the HHR and the other retro rides (Beetle, Mini, PT) is that the HHR is still a practical choice for most people in comparison to those other 3.
How can you say the Beetle is impractical? My wife owns one and it seems bigger then my HHR. Sorry I know this is a HHR forum but I have a soft spot for VW, especially the old air-cooled ones.
