I never minded not getting picked, always operated at the fringes of the school cliques, that way I could get up to more "no good stuff".

Its funny though, I've always wanted to be on the other side seeing the trial from a layperson's eyes, I think it would be fascinating.
I never got picked for regular jury duty while I was working - except I was picked for the Grand Jury for 6 months. Turned out pretty decent. The others always had questions why the officers did certain things in their investigations. Fortunately, I was out of town (and excused) when the GJ heard an officer involved shooting.

I've had officers on juries I argued in front of, not too many times though as the defense usually assumed that they were going to be biased in favor of the prosecution.

We have the best legal system in the world, and there are times when it irritates me to no end when folks try to wheedle out of jury duty. Its an interruption of your daily life, but its a duty that should be embraced as one of the things that makes our country stand above the crowd.

My father always said he wanted to be on a jury - just so he could tell the Judge, "Bring that guilty SOB in here so we can get down to business!"

I had one prospective juror(elderly male, aged between 75 and older than dirt)raise his hand and ask me "why can't we just shoot the SOB and save everyone some time?", he was dismissed along with the entire jury pool. I honestly thought the defense attorney was going to have a stroke on the spot, he managed to get out "Your Honor!" before dissolving into a spluttering red faced shambles.

The prosecution team managed to make it across the street to the hot dog stand before we ended up rolling on the ground in hysterics.

Sorry, I use tapatalk all the time now on my phone and this forum isnt' tapatalk linked. lol

I maybe shouldn't be allowed to have cars anymore.

Windshiled got a crack 3 days after I got the scion. Had it filled, then it cracked more. So just got a new windshiled put on Saturday. Idiot f-ed up my wiper arm. The metal is all scratched and chipped apart. So now today waiting 8-11 for his manager to come out see what parts he has to order to fix it. garg! lol But the car hasn't broke. haha

Goes in tuesday for inspection / free 5k service. Only have 3,500 on it but meh said to do it within 5k or 6 months from in service which 10/10 so it's been a year.

Tinted tails will be done this weekend for her, :) Friend had a 2010 as well and he basically gave me his tails and got them tinted for me for 1/2 the price of untinted tails.

Still working a ton, working 2 shifts this weekend to work towards the spoiler for it too. Its $300 painted though with instail kit so not that bad.

haha yeah yeah yeah it is a funny looking HHR. I miss the trunk space though. Can't fit 3 bikes in the back like I could with the HHR.

Witty banter, also known as my insanity on rant speed. lol How have you all been?
