Why don't you invite a few fellow members on here to give you a hand Greybeard? Hell call it a "clean up party"! This way you achieve a few things: 1) basement gets cleaned out faster 2) your psyche can use the positive boost, I can tell you're bummed by this (and rightly so, but don't let this BEAT you!) 3) you can get closer to getting the furnace back up and running for yourself and the household. Just a thought.

I'm concerned about the "toxic" mud that's like grease to walk on..... I'd never ask anybody to put up with that. Know what I mean?

Thanks for the concern though, it's appreciated.

Greybeard-

I'm sure this is a bad situation.. Have you tried using a fan to help dry the mud ? just a thought.. Might be easier to remove then..

Well Sam, like I said yesterday, Michelle has fallen seriously in "like" with the color....but I'm afraid little Zippy will get turned back in at Enterprise with a request that they fix him for the next person or put him out of his misery. But I believe the search parameters have been broadened to include a Victory Red panel for the lovely lady.
