Got the majority of the flood damaged stuff out of the basement today..... Now it's all in the garage. Not sure if that's an improvement or not.

Back to the drawing board........ Got another 6 inches of water in the basement last night.

 

So sorry to hear that man, is it from ponding around the house or does it come in from cracks in the foundation?

 

2 inches of rain in about an hour....... it comes in from everywhere. It's a hundred + year old house.

 

OK I get ya, had a 140 year old house at one time. The only cure was to dig up the basement floor, install sump pits and pumps, then pour a new floor. Two months of futzing around and $10k later, I had a dry basement at last, and people wonder why I like living in a condo so much these days.

I can't believe the weather you folks are getting up your way, you have to be wondering if it'll ever dry out.

 

I'm gonna stock it with fish......
