Sunflower, These guys seem to be giving you the business, have you mentioned, while you are there, that your best buddy is a blood thirsty attorney ?? I would mention it in passing and if it doesn't help. I would find one to look at the case. I think it is reasonable to believe when you purchase a used car with 9000 miles on it, it should run perfect. You could prolly get a referral from Gasman the one he used got-R-done. You should not take the hit cause GM cant get it together, they got all that Taxpayer money, they should give yours back. Just my
I already got money from GM under breach of warenty, and extended warenty from the lawyer. (PA used lemon law) That was before all of this now, but the lawyer said they can't sue GM again now for the same thing which sucks.
I think the settlement was to cover the issues with the vehicle up to that point, and supposedly it was fixed, and fixed again, and fixed again, and fixed again..........
I think that the majority of Julie's problems can be laid at the feet of the dealers she's been dealing with, the right dealer could have diagnosed the problem and fixed the vehicle properly long ago. The problem these days is the lack of mechanics with good diagnostic skills, too often they "shotgun" the problem by throwing parts at it in hopes that they fix the issue just by chance.
A properly trained tech operating without the time constraints imposed by the warranty rate book could have had her fixed up in one or two visits at most. There is no need for the level of ridiculous stupidity that Julie's situation has reached, but at this point its just get it running so it can be traded in, a pretty sad commentary on "customer service" if you ask me.

Yeah, that is what was going on, Fixing piece by piece. Gm told them this time to just replace the whole wiring harness in hopes that by doing that it fixes everything but that part is what we are now waitng on. The car hasn't been fixed or touched in 3 weeks now becuase there is no part for them to install. Then when it coems to dealership I have 2 within an hour, the other was worse then this one because they didn't give me rentals and made me just drive mine.
The settlement money was for all the prior issues, yup you're right Mike. Actually all the issues from piror to the settlement havn't happened again. Since then it has been all these electrical issues.

Oh so a bit of the GM money I put into savings came to good use yesterday.

(please ignore cleveage, my husband took the picture and thought it was funny )
Was washing dishes, glass shattered. 9 stiches later.

Ouch, that has got to sting. Don't forget that tea tree oil kills infection and heals quickly. You are going to need some help with the dishes for a while. I don't think we can ignore cleavage as long as we are breathing still. But since you asked we'll try!!
Can someone shot me please? Home sick today, 100+ fever, sore throat, chest cold and sinus congestion.
Oh and to top it off the Hybrid got a service hybrid aka CEL on last night. like wtf?> Oh and just called dealership and they said to keep the car and since it is a solid CEL not to worry. Like um okay, I am calling once the rental place opens in a bit to ask them to switch.
