Not long after Sept. 11th, I took this photo from the front deck of one of the cruise ships I worked on as we were sailing into NY Harbour. It was about 6:30 in the morning on a Saturday. I just happened to catch the sun rising in the exact location where the Twin Towers stood. This picture has always reminded me that we can rise from the ashes. Still kinda seems like yesterday. Now if they would just get off their asses and show the world we can re-build.

Have you seen the recently(?) released NASA photo that has been circulating in the email route? It was captured just after the attack.
