single parent for a week

single parent for a week
My wife is in danbury, CT this week on a business trip, so I am a single parent 
this is going to be one tough week. If that alone wasn't bad enough, both our kids have swimming lessons and my son has little league baseball, sometimes at the same time 
. 
Help me make it through the week!

No really, you've got great kids, I'm sure you'll be dead tired by the end of the week but besides that all will be well.

I guarantee you'll appreciate everything your wife does for the family so much more now. I've been a single parent for 8 years now and know how hard it can be. Fortunately, it was mostly their teen years so the kids were pretty self-sufficient. They just cost more to maintain at that age!

I feel your pain.
When the ex walked out on the boys and I back in '95 I became a single parent for about 9 years until they were out of school and moved out. It was a tough job to raise kids and work full time...definitely a life changing experiance.But they turned out alright in spite of me.
