Hello Marshall, my name is Frank and a young 62. I have been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is now in radiation treatment daily. My faith in God gives me great hope and strength. This site is one of my favorite and I own a 2Lt Black HHR. If you want to see some old school modifications? Go to the gallery and type in search for Holmes Hot Ride.

Hi Marshall! I'm another one of the older guys here. I've had my HHR about three months, am enjoying it as my regular commuter. I am a Navy/Viet Nam vet (1966-1970), married to the same great woman for 33 years and we enjoy building and driving our hot rods. I have a 1935 Ford sedan with a 2002 Corvette LS1 in it, my wife has a 1930 Model A truck with a flathead V-8 that SHE built. In a few years I will retire from my job as a Chevrolet dealer Service Manager (30 years at the same dealership). I'm looking forward to the development of the 2.4L Eco motor into the next hot rod "small block Chevy". Our next hot rod project will be Ecotech powered. If I can assist anyone please let me know, I have full access to GM's Service Information and I stay in touch with some of the West Coast Field Engineers for GM

Hey guys,

I figured you’d like to know more about your friendly admin as well

My Name is Jonel. I am 24 and graduating with a degree in accounting in 3 weeks. I am going to sit for the CPA later this year so wish me luck. I dated my girl Natalie for over 4 years now. It’s about time for a ring.

What do I enjoy? CARS! I am a huge car freak. To the point where I will flag you down to stop if you have a sweet ride. I like to do everything and anything related to cars. (especially drag racing)

I also love web development and this is why I run this place. It’s a huge hobby of mine that gives me much satisfaction. I love getting emails form ppl hearing how my site has helped them. It energizes me and makes my day. I met so many good people on here! I often stay up all night designing webpages and creating graphics in PSD.

I am also an outdoor freak. Running, hiking, and biking in parks and reservations makes me feel like I am on top of the world.

Ok that's it form me, now take the time and tell me about you!

Greetings Fellow HHR owners and members,

My name is Erwin. I am a 40 year old husband and father of 4 (to be, 4th due in Aug). Been married for 15 years now.

I am a Projects Manager for an Automations company developing Robotics equipment and Metrology Gauging equipment for the past 10 years. I have a multi-disciplined background, in Electrical-Electronics, Software Development, and Mechanical design. My prior career with the DOD, had me working on many Naval Nuclear warships and submarines. My most memorable work was on the CVN-65 USS Enterprise, man that was a big ship.

To be honest, I was not a car freak until I got the HHR, although, have been fond of Chevy cars since forever. My main hobby and passion is as a professional musician. My main instrument is the Piano/Keyboards. I have been playing music for over 20 years here in SF area. I have not written any new music since my first child was born, but hope to do so after my 4th is born. I have successfully put music into my children's lives. My eldest daughter plays both Alto and Tenor Saxaphone, as well as Piano. My eldest son plays Drums and Guitar. My youngest son...well, not sure yet. My daughter and I plan to record her CD in my home studio soon. She has just been selected to be in the school Jazz Band. She really loves Candy Dulfer...

I do not think I can keep up with most of you on the Mods..So far, all I have is, of course, the 18" FOOSE wheels, the Subby antenna and HHR brake overlay from SoCalHHRs. I seriously doubt I will lower, since I have 8.5" wheels and 34mm offset. My next mod will probably be the matched paint rear spoiler and bigger sounding horn. Oh, and a new windshield, like the one the "Capt" has since mine is cracked now.

Hey everybody, I am Pat from Central Illinois (Peoria) a 45 year old certified car nut, married for 23 years to an absolute doll and we have two incredible sons 21 and 20. I do Instrumentation Engineering and Metrology for a major earthmoving equipment manufacturer. 10 year Army vet, Infantry and Electronics, combat in Panama, peacekeeping mission in Egypt, and humanitarian missions throughout the world (we didn't shoot anybody on these missions). I "LOVE" my HHR and I am getting addicted to this site...Soon I think that my checks will have to start being directly depositied to SoCalHHR becasue I am getting ready to start on my Black 1LT (see I got it right...) the LT1 was in my El Camino!!!

Hello everyone, my name is Mark and I am 40 years old and married with 2 great kids 9 and 12. I work for Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of North America as an associate building cars, we build the Galant,Endeavor,Eclipse, and the Spyder convertible. I started working for Mitsubishi after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in criminal justice and I have been there 17 years. I love to play golf and am a huge music fan, trying to play guitar but it is not working out to well When I fist saw the HHR knew I was going to own one someday and purchased one about 5 weeks ago. I own a sport red 2 LT loaded with everything but side air bags and onstar. I love coming to this site daily just to see whats going on and getting a few laughs from the captain.
I have not really done any mods to my car and do not plan on anything major but there are a few little things I would like to do. I really want to do something under the hood to dress up the engine compartment, I want to also replace the speakers and sub but I will probably wait a little while. The people on this site are very nice and very informative and I enjoy checking out what all you guys do to your rides. I have learned a lot from this site and the people like Mike from SoCal,Captain, and CJ just to name a few know a lot about cars and the HHR and are very willing to share their knowledge and help everyone who asks and needs help. I love this car and spend a lot of time keeping her clean and looking good my kids tease me all the time, we were at some friends the other night and it started raining and my son asked me if we needed to put a tarp over the HHR to keep it dry
