Tim Allen Becomes Chevy Pitchman
#21
"Tim the toolman" is relevant! The guy is a genuine gearhead from the word GO. I have seen several of his cars and they are nice. You can talk about a turbocharged engine and he knows what you are talking about. Many other "celebrities" a car company might hire never have a clue.

Tim Allen
To bring Tim on as a Chevrolet or GM spokesperson would in my opinion be one of the smartest things GM has ever done in regard to marketing...I think Ford was brilliant in bringing "Dirty Jobs" Mike Rowe on board and Tim Allen should draw an even large audience.

GM needs to use Tim as a on air spokesman.
There plan is just to use him in voice overs and nothing more at this point.
Ford did hit a home run with Mike Rowe. He is in the top 5 most trusted people on TV. Not bad for a ex opera singer that likes to get dirty.

You know, I had seen those commercials and it hadn't dawned on me that it was Tim Allen's voice. I think it's a good pick, Mike Roe/Dirty Jobs is easy to mock... it's a dirty nasty thing to have a Ford (though I do enjoy dirty jobs, and nothing against Mike)
