Stake pockets ready for one side, now for the top tube. Tailgate is ready for hinge mounting. I know I was going to go with a wood flatbed but had some 16ga that was begging to be used.

Thinking of this for the door

One more bend to front side and some trimming and 2 tubes to go and all of the bends are using 2 heavy angles, the back cross frame and a dead blow hammer..

Floor in the bed, might get wood floor later. Remounted the gas tank forward and lower.

Yes I changed my mind on the bed floor but it still may get a wood flat bed and sides later depending on how this looks finished.

I am told my new seat back panel will arrive in the morning so I can get the front box panel bent and formed to the seat back. I have started on wiring.

Shortened my windshield supports, note one long one short.

Both done

Dash work

Electronic speedometer.

I would hope a 5.3 LS engine (327) should make it go at least 35 mph!!
