Top 20 Dumbest cars of all time according to AOL autos staff
Although I dont agree with a few of these cars making the list
at least they did not put the HHR on the list but the Pt Cruiser convertible made the list.
I thought you might get a kick out of the list

Remarkably poorly written article by kids who obviously weren't around when most of those cars were produced, and were far more interested in being snarky and political than really delving into automotive history. What else would you expect from the AOL/Huffpo preschool?

Interesting the Vega was chosen and the Pinto omitted? Perhps they felt their scathing of the Mustang II made up for that? Having first owned a Pinto, then a Vega GT in my youth; I will concede neither was built to last. However both met my needs within budget at an early age.
I too remember the howls when Ford first introduced the small Mustang. Interestingly enough less than a decade ago, we acquired two decent used Fox bodied Mustang LX convertibles for our sons as first cars. Both vehicles were driven until they could be no more and then sold as parts to eager parties willing to pay more than envisioned. If there are really that many of us willing to trade in dumb cars today; were/are the cars really that dumb?

Yeah, the SSR was on the list. I think the guys that bought them and still own them are laughing. $25,000 is the average asking price for a good one now.

Hmmm we all have more to add to the list and remove, I do like the SSR and had a Vega and a Pinto and a Mustang II, but then was then and now we look back and ask what was I thinking. The list is a fun read.
