Wow. Glad to see you're ok. Definitely could have been a lot worse. If anything your experience is a definite testiment to every HHR owner out there of how safe this vehicle really is. Well, that and nice to have a guardian Angel on your side. Lord knows I've given my guardian Angel some overtime. Again. Glad you're ok Oldschool. :twothumbs

Oldschool freak, I do not believe anything ever happens by chance and just like Mike said, God was watching over you. I am glad to see you were not badly injured and I hope you will be able to get another HHR soon. Praying for a speedy recovery.

Get well soon Buddy, Sorry about you and your ride. The next one(ride) will be better!!
It really amazes me when I see someone w/o their seatbelt on, as if they know when the next accident is going to happen. I`m glad Mrs. Oldschool got you to wear it in time!!!
Hope to see you in Peoria. B/B

WOW! Glad to hear that you'll be okay. Cars can be replaced, people can't. Seatbelts DO save lives. Buckle up!

Glad to hear that you're ok and were not seriously injured. Sounds like the safety features in the HHR did their job. I'm a firm believer that our loved ones who have gone before us, watch over us and keep us safe and I'm sure you mom was watching over you. As others have said...cars can be replaced...people can't.

Please take it easy and stop by when you can. Wishing you a quick recovery and hoping your HHR gets replaced quickly.

thanx everyone for the kind words!! well I talked to my dealership rep over the holiday weekend and they said i was approved for the 0% financing deal so i am gonna save about 6000 or so in interest so im gonna upgrade to a 06 2lt with everything but roof rails and rear spoiler which i didnt want anyway and my payments will be about 75 a month cheaper so maybe my banker was watchin out for me?? I`m gonna try and get pictures of the car before the ins. comp. takes it and i`ll try and post them if i do. to everyone goin to the peoria run the dealer rep said they should have the car monday from Iowa and should have the woody kit done within a week or two. so i hope i will still make it to the run!! Thanx again everyone there sure are alot of great peeps on this site!! The Freak (still kickin)
