U.S Rep prods GM to Reinstate Buick GMC Dealer
From our local paper, guess it goes to show that nothing is impossible:
CHICOPEE – After prodding from U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal, D-Springfield, General Motors Corp. reversed course and has reinstated Bob Pion as a Buick and GMC dealer.
“Now all we have to do is get some inventory in here so we can sell cars,” said Robert A. Pion, who founded the dealership in 1977.
His son, Donald F. Pion, said he expects to start getting new Buicks and GMCs in 30 days. GM has eliminated the Pontiac brand, but Pion said the new Buick Regal is designed to appeal to the Pontiac buyer.
