Great, Great, Grandpa Horace paid $645 for it including the trade in allowance of $40 for his 1928 Ford. Concerted over to 2011 dollars it comes to $9,049.08, still a good value considering its going on 74 years of continuous service.

I just wish I fit in the Camaro, but my head is in the roof even in the convertible(top up of course), and the Corvette is a no go because I don't fit in them either. I just wanted a nice V-8 muscle car to use more often than the SS, if the Challenger gets rained on I'll be irked, if the SS gets rained on I'm mortified.
Your mom's Corvette looks like it's sitting at a dealership... Or she just has a habit of parallel parking in front of the doors.

I have a pile of pics to get scanned in, when I get them done I'll post 'em to my album here on the site. I'm afraid the interior is kinda plain to look at, they were very spartan back then, and rear seat DVD's would probably just spoil it anyway.

Here ya go CCK, not the best shot of the dash but the one I could find at least. The gauges from left to right are fuel, speedo, and then temp/oil pressure. The two large knobs to the left of the wheel are for the vent flap on the cowl and the hand throttle. The hole to the right behind the steering wheel is for the knob that lets you crank the bottom of the windshield out for more air, it was off being rechromed I think. And in the center of the dash are the choke knob, switch for the lights, and the heater switch giving you a choice of on or off...that's it.
