So are we. We booked a 8day/7night trip with a 5 day hopper pass. Staying at the Pop Centry Resort near Epcot. That will eat up about 25% of my refund. Also new tires and front brakes for the HHR. Investing in the wifes and daughters retirement and educational accounts. Maybe a new bedrrom suite for the daughter. Bank the rest.

Yea, it's well over 10K this year. We did an international adoption a few years back, lot's of tax breaks with that. Both federal and state.

I think next year will be the last time I can claim it on federal though......

But GA will let me until she turns 18.

We are going for 7 days in August.
The rest of our refund will pay for some bills and a down payment on a new van for the wife.

We are taking the money from this tax return to pay our property tax.

I am hoping to owe about $100. I do not like giving interest free loans to the government. If I do get a refund, it will go into the money market account.

You still get an additional $400 credit when you file. So, even though you got to keep more during the year and your refund would be less, you can add that $400 to it in the end. My refund came out to $200 more than last year with the same earnings.

It's going to savings and then maybe on to Sears in exchange for a new dryer. :)
