I like their music and will continue to listen to it. I am not offended by their political views even though they differ from mine. I do feel that they should stick to doing what they do best, Music, and leave the politics out. Many have tried to use their musical status to influence others and the results are not good for most. After all what do they think they will accomplish by bashing Bush, convert a load of hard core Republicans and get him Impeached? I think not. Music is music and Politics is , well politics. I dont think the two are compatable. For that matter I dont think politics is compatable with much of anything. I kind of like one of the canidates a while back who said lets put voting machines in every house, do away with all the Senate and House Reps and let the people vote, a true Democracy> Heh we could pay off the National Debt and fix the Social Security program and a lot more. Dang, I wonder why that did not take off????

I don't think I've ever heard a song by them nor do I know what any of the members did so I guess I have no opinion for once.

Dixie Chicks

Personally I won't buy or listen to their music. Political views are definitely different than mine. As for the rest of the actors and musicians that live in a make believe world they should continue to do what they do best, make believe. Leave reality alone, they don't have a understanding of the world situation, but then again there are some politicians that don't have a clear understanding of world situation. Some of them have already announced their intentions to run for president in 2008. God help us. Politically correct I am not.

What's the problem with entertainers getting involved in politics? I'm mean after all, can you name a politician that's not a good actor?

They should not have won all of the Awards that they won.
They are very lucky that they won any at all.
You asked me, Here it is.
