I don't need to mow that fast or wide. But. I do want to be ready in case of a Zombie apocalypse ! Mounted one of my extra ammo cans in case I need it.
Not if it broke the bank....spent every penny on a mower.

PulpFriction- Cool, Toro do make good machines.. My 2014 Toro Z was a 100 year Anniversary model..Shame Toro Dealers are having problems getting new inventory. They did some outsourcing & I think it bit them in the butt.

Blue- Cool, but your friends Kawasaki engine looks like it needs a good cleaning & service... Sad to see on a 691..
My 48" It's a 2021 "Black-out Edition" Bought last year on 5/20/21. .. Kawasaki powered. Just turned 18.7 hours today.
I just service it, she doesn’t get the value of a clean machine, just that it’s a waste of water.
Blue- I hear ya man.. Every end of mow season I service my stuff. & remove the blower housing to make sure the engine & cylinder fins are clean & serene.
Where we worked no gates or fences, except the field stone walls across the front yard, were constructed. Most of the properties were acres, not lots. Maybe some were called "Country Estates".

I worked Parks and Forestry a few years and ran some mean machines like that ( Toro as well ) and the City Golf Course they have some fine machines too, very precise.
I had a Cub Cadet ZT2 54" which was nice
