I recently bought my oldest kid a new laptop with Vista. Well, to make a long story short, I dumped Vista and installed a new copy of XP that I had laying around my home office. The laptop now works like a champ! We were have too many issues with Vista. XP for now just seems much more stable.

Vista wouldn't be so bad if I could run a program without having to answer yes to three different pop up boxes. It's way too F'n chatty!
