100k

I've noticed that most of you have fairly gently used HHR's...the one that I purchased drives like new, but we just rolled 91k. Just wondering if anyone knows if I need to be looking into 100k service of any kind (I'm looking at you ChevyMGR!). The guy I bought it from was super meticulous about the HHR and was taken to a great dealer for all service. It runs like a champ and gets pretty good milage.

Was considering a pretty normal tune up...plugs for sure, inspect the wires, various filters, fluids, maybe a tstat. Anything else I need to check?

While I'm asking, what kinda plugs does every one like? I prefer NGK's...anyone used them in their HHR?

Thanks for the help in advance!

Spark plugs at 100K. If you have a coolant tester I would check that also, but it's suppose to last to 150K.

I'll run AC Delco's Iridums in it again.

It'll be going to the dealer here in the next couple of weeks for an oil change...$25 for oil change, 25pt inspection and a wash (Terry Lee Chevy). I'll see if they can check the coolant while it's in. I figured they ran AC Delco's stock...never looked it up. Might just go with them. It has literally been a hwy commuter it's whole life, so I'm not too worried about the miles racking up.

Thank you ChevyMgr! When do I need to start thinking about h2o pumps and things of that nature?

Only when they fail and we have a very low failure rate on HHR pumps. I can't remember the last one we did. Really you just need do the plugs, and I would do the delcos, and drive it.

So I went to buy plugs yesterday...AutoZone says they are platinum's stock while Advance says they are iridium. From the posts above, are they in fact iridium?
