Oops...I need to put the car back together first.




Oh...these were one of my finds yesterday at the junkyard. They are in much better shape than mine!

 

Speaking of hitting a wall...when I used my little plumbing tool on the left side it always brought back out a small bit of fibers attached to the end. So I don't know if that's blockage or that it went somewhere it shouldn't.

There was a butyl patch on your 2007?


My 07 had a cowl opening like this with no patch


The opening didn’t go to the bottom of the windshield like this

 

Yes...there was a butyl patch on my 2007. I thought I posted a pic of it when I replaced it. Or when it was still attached.

 

Just wanted to confirm, 2006 and real early 2007 had the patch

FYI. For those of you that have the cowl cover off for whatever reason. Here's a little thing you can add to keep leaves and debris from entering the cabin filter area. A piece of window screen to cover the hole. I added this to mine.
