Hey Ronnie,
for future knowledge when it comes time to replace your windshield do some pre work and remove the cowl.
I didn't for my first one and when I did for my second ,I discovered that the butyl patch had been destroyed by the tool used to cut the window sealing compound.
Nice to see all the work you are doing.

Thank you...I would prefer not to be doing all this work and enjoying it. Once I am confident I have the A.C. drain cleared. Which means absolutely no leaking in the car. I will be replacing speakers. I believe water has fried the ones in the front doors. My side mirrors still aren't working so I need to look inside the door to make sure everything is making a good connection.

But today is mow the lawn and trying to fix a dripping shower handle. It never ends.

We have had several severe thunderstorms in Kansas City in the last week or so. I am happy to report I have not experienced any water inside my HHR.

Strangely my front passenger speaker started working briefly. So I am afraid it's more an electrical issue than bad speakers.

No it’s bad speakers, the water corroded the magnet in the speaker, that has dried out now , and so the speakers work , for now.
