AutoLift 3000 - any one use

Read a few threads on removal of the HHR Drive train or Engine via dropping the cradle with Engine Tranny.... as the designed method to remove.

Other threads on some various Ft End lift methodologies... some looked pretty risky in some aspects.
That got me looking at various methods to lift the Ft End in a home garage fashion.
Ideally a host would probably work best, but focused on Home garage.

Found the AutoLift 3000, can lift Ft or Rr, and it appears high enough to remove cradle with Engine / Tranny fully mounted.

Curious if anyone has looked or used one of these.

Very interesting, and really different.

There is no way to adjust width, so you are REALLY relying on those side supports to be solid (they don't really look it)
It would also be better if they provided a second one of the jack stands, but I am sure they would sell you one.
If it works, it would making filling and burping the cooling system a lot easier!

However, the whole site is a bit sketchy to me, as I always consider sloppy, misspelled and ungrammatical websites as indicative of the company behind it.
There is a heading that says:

Why to Choose AUTOLift3000

And they couldn't bother to spell "Maintenance" correctly either.
Guessing English is not someone's first language, although they are reportedly based in Delaware.

If you get one, please be sure to share pics of you using it!

I noticed the fixed width in frame too, but per their specs & viewing the demo video, it does adjust.
The platform has a 13” adj width, each platform slides 6.5” on their pivot pin: 51”-64” width.
Looking at frame & design how it lifts & pivots... the solid frame may be a positive, only the angle is changing in frames at the end points.

Certainly not a lift I’d use for heavy weight, but the HHR (and other cars) would be within my comfort zone.
Compared to other high tilt home garage options, many self fabricated, this one looked safer & more adjustable to me.

I’d agree, they certainly didn’t spend a lot on the Web site or the content. Even the demo video is a bit cheesy, but does job presenting a demo... got my interest.
Quality overall doesn’t compare to the QuickJack, and operation isn’t close. It’s a crank gear box steel frame, nothing fancy, but looks functional .

The tilting Ft to Rr feature at first wasn’t high on my list... but it may be something after used a bit you develope a interest.
That might actually be handy in Engine / Tran cradle drop projects... initially working level or even nose dropped while on exhaust, then tilting & lifting higher to slide out cradle.
On most other tasks, I’d use the QuickJack... faster to lift up & down, jack stands not required. To use a drill to lift the platform, that has to be a pretty big ratio and slow lift.

As you mentioned, once in position, I’d want a few jack stands... at least until I gained comfort in lift.
I have no plans to get one yet, but when the need arises for engine & cradle drop (no hurry)... I’ll add it to my wall riggings.

Minimum 10 amp drill. That's really powerful.
