I can tell, because it has them.

Lately the only replacement glass comes from China, most don't have the marks. If you get PPG branded glass it is old stock.

My last 1 was a Pilkington. The guy (good friend, actually) said it was US-made, but I never looked for marks. I eyeball that aligning stuff.
