Windshield wipers go on when I unlock the car at times

When I use the electric door locks to unlock the car, the windshield wipers go on at times. I have about 2000 mi on the car now and it has done it about 4 times. At first I thought maybe I had left the wipers on but that is not the case. Has any one else experienced this. Unless the dealer can duplicate the problem, I don’t see how he can fix it.

Sounds like you need to re-name your car "Christine".
Try and wreck it, and see if she fixes herself.

When there's a weird electrical problem like yours involving seemingly unrelated components it's often the BCM,which controls many of the electrical functions in the vehicle.Possible but less likely is a pinched wire or a bad ground.

Did you leave your wipers in a delay mode when you last shut it off?

Cool

It's a firmware bug. I'm sure of it. Just which of the 356 microcontrollers involved in this car is the question...
