DIC Coolant Read
I was wondering if anyone knew were the coolant read on the DIC should be at when starting their HHR? Mine reads at 0% and I was wondering if this is normal?

A little confused here but I'll go on the assumption that you mean degrees rather than percent. If its 0º C when you start the vehicle the DIC coolant temp readout will reflect that because the engine has cooled to ambient temperature, it should climb rapidly after a few seconds as the engine warms.
Since its 50º F(10º C) here in Carolina right now, I'd expect the DIC in the HHR's to reflect that ambient temperature within a degree or two at startup.

Thanks 843, ya I meant 0 C not percentage. Mine is sitting at zero when I start my vehicle. (This is a stupid question, I know). It takes about ten minutes of driving before it gets fully warmed up to 92 or so. You would think I would be able to remember from my first 06 LS. Must be the cold weather.

Yeah cold weather and reaching middle age have given me a case of CRS like you wouldn't believe, forget my smart phone in SC at my parents house so my Mommy had to FedEx it up to me. Who knows what I'll forget next.
