My skill is not the problem. I have been working on my own cars for 30 years. I am going back and forth now between Florida and my house in Minneapolis. No place to work on it here and all my mechanic tools are at my house in Minneapolis with an unheated detached garage.

I am going to try a place in Orlando on Monday and see if they can give me a better price. They have a 5-star Yelp rating with over 30 reviews.

Thanks.

3rd Estimate

$320 + tax at a shop in Orlando.

I ordered a hub assembly off Amazon for $49.56

I am going to try to get a mechanic I know to do it. I am back in Minneapolis now and it is way too cold to work in the garage.

bundle up Buttercup!, if you're in a garage out of the wind, this shouldn't take to long, but if your mechanic guy will do it for a nominal fee, then it is worth the money.

If you do decide to DIY, they are very easy to change. I changed both of mine and was very suprised how easy they came off. You will need a new axle nut also which is cheap from just about any parts store. Just remove wheel, remove axle nut, remove brake caliper and hang it from strut spring with a wire or hook so you don't have to undo brake line, slide off brake rotor, remove three bolts on inner side of housing that hold hub to housing, a little tap and it will fall out, install in reverse order. I took maybe 15-20 minutes per side including the wheel removal/install. Don't forget a new axle nut is highly recommended, I can't remember the torque but you can find it with a little research.

Maddawg, Where in Tally are you? I know a few shops around here that won't rip you off. BTW the hub you got at Amazon probaly won't last that long,I bought a set and changed them myself about a year ago.Now I noticed I'm getting a little noise out of them again.Next time I'll spend a little extra and get Timken hubs.
