Length of a Link

I have an issue. I’m rebuilding the front suspension of my 2011 HHR LT. I removed the right side sway bar link and ordered new ones. The old ones were 10.0” long. Two different sets of replacements were both 11.8” long. Were the old ones wrong? Will the new ones fit once I remove the left side link? Can anyone measure what on their HHR? Thanks Fierojo

to the forums!

10" is correct for HHR.

From our common part number thread

SWAY BAR END LINKS- suggested by Snoopy

- Moog K750012 (9.86" center to center)
- NAPA 265-1833 (9.86" center to center)
- RAYBESTOS 5451624 (281mm)
- GM P/N 20784688 or 20784687 (250mm center to center)

FYI. The 12 inch ones will fit, BUT, they could rub on the suspension parts. Causing a clunking noise.
Be safe. Get the 10 inch.

The oldest parts book error!. Both are listed as "fits" then the guy says "do you want the 12's" you think he means the part number he thinks he means the length.
They "fit" because the ball studs are the same size and they are 180 degrees offset.
