Why would the wires to a connector be cut? Junk yards do that to save time.
The wire colors aren't right. Should be YE.BK, GY and D-GN. Maybe the top wire is YE/BK, can't tell.

Notice there is the same thing on the other side of the head taped up. Looks like a dirty salvage yard head with no cams or valve train.
No sign of residual oil on the head either. It’s been sitting on a shelf for a while. Wonder if it’s the correct head for the OP’s engine.

I wouldn’t trust those sensors and I would give that head a good wash and clean up! And close inspection of the valves and springs.
