Question intake cam shaft senor

Hi everyone , Just wondering where the cam shaft sensor is located on a 2006 chevy hhr ls 2.2 litre , is it behind the oil fliter? and is there an exhaust senor somewhere. Thank you for your help.

There isn't one on a 2005 2,2L. That is handled by the Ignition Control Module.
Why do you ask? Because you have a code that cites it?

Click through the images. I had to look at it twice.

The picture does not matter; that is for either a 2006 2.4 or a later model 2.2.

THE 2006 2.2L DOES NOT HAVE CAMSHAFT SENSORS.
P0340 indicates a problem in the ICM.

One more time; the 2006 2.2L is a "wasted spark" ignition. The camshaft positions are calculated by the ICM using spark plug resistance data.
The CEL is set when the ECM does not detect any change in the CMP signal for 107 crank revolutions in 2 consecutive ignition cycles.

Usually caused by a loose wire or failing ICM sometimes by failing or incorrect spark plugs.
