Sway bar links

Why are there two length for the sway bars on 2006 HHR’s? Auto Zone has an 11 inch and a 13 inch. Which one should I install?

I'd measure what you already have & go from there.

From the https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/comm...-thread-48833/

SWAY BAR END LINKS - suggested by Snoopy
- Moog K750012 (9.86" center to center)
- NAPA 265-1833 (9.86" center to center)
- RAYBESTOS 5451624 (281mm)
- GM P/N 20784688 or 20784687 (250mm center to center)

You don't - just measure them and get the equivalent length replacements.

OR, look at the part numbers I posted in #3. You want the "10 inch" not "12 inch".

I should have been more specific in #3, but it is on the forum so much I forgot that the search was screwey.

Whatever the store part number crosses over to Moog K750012. The 12 on the end of the part number does NOT stand for "12 inch".

What started this was when I went to Auto Zone and bought a pair of sway bar links. I was told and shown my HHR was to use 12 inch sway bar links. Same thing with NAPA.

I doubt their books are detailed enough to state that accurately... You are best off just measuring what is already there.

By the way... If you are in Marysville. Ohio I'm about 15 miles away from you.

Almost ALL of the books are incorrect. The 12 inch will "fit" but, they bang against the control arms.
