Thanks for that I needed that. Everyone has been great. I guess I'll have to go with basic oil again. I'm truly grateful. If there is something mechanical I need to fix please let me know. I will answer any questions I can. Thank you all.

That's one thing I have scheduled to change in my next change but last I looked they were dry and sparkling normally. But that was back in Nov.

And check your oil level at each gas stop, if not more frequently. Maybe start keeping a log of it.

With 1,216,642 miles a compression test would be well advised.

Check the rubber elbow at the throttle body, is it oiled up after the valve cover vent hose?




Follow this hose to the elbow above the throttle body.

I wonder if that may be a typo.

If not, it is likely just in need of a rebuild. The rings and valve seals have to be worn.

What all has been replaced in those miles OP?
