Great news to hear that hhrboutique will be there for sure I will pm them what I want to make sure they have it at the event This event just keeps getting better and better

 

Okay, I am taking a break from game building, I wanted to come and see if there were any questions or new buzz about the run. The Hot Wheel track and the Bean Bag Toss games will be built tonight, leaving just the decorations (and Rita making the bean bags) I spent a long time talking with HHR Boutique and they are an extremely professional couple who built their business with the PT Cruisers and are now looking to build the HHR side, so we can all benefit from a relationship, plus having a national sponsor is never bad for a run !!! The folks at the hotel have gotten a PA System for us, and things are looking good with them. I will meet with the local police Thursday and go check a few local sponsor possibilities, before the rest of the Thursday arrivals get to town...I am going to ask any of the Thursday crowd that is interested, to help build the goodie bags, I am thinking that the stuff will be easier to transport in boxes and then build them on site...We got at least one more trophy sponsor this weekend and Nson (Father57's son) is back from the Army and has graciously offered to help chase trophy sponsors for these last couple of weeks... To our club members this is the time to hit your employers, spouses employers etc about sponsoring a trophy, or door prizes or goodie bag stuff...Anything that is collected can either be forwarded to me or you can just bring it to the Dells and we will add it to the rest of the stuff and man do we have great stuff !!! Thank you to our members who have really stepped up, Steveflo with a trophy sponsorship from his new business and TomsHHR for his prizes for his cool games leading up to the run and for his additional sponsorship of merchandise from his new business venture and to everyone who has chipped in help, passed flyers and chased sponsors, this is coming together very well by your efforts and the friends, the contacts and the threads here at this forum...now if I could just get Jonyb and/or SIHHR to come with us we would really be doing well. The long distance trophy is really up for grabs again as SindyDix and Mr Bumpstops have had to change their plans, and as of Friday a sponsor has stepped up and provided a gift to go with the long distance trophies ( a sense of humor will be required for these...hahaha).
Well I just got a call and need to amke an unexpected run so everyone have a great night and I will be on tomorrow, still looking to find a few more folks to come join us in the Dells...later !!!

 

This sounds like a great time. Wish I could attend --however my son is getting married that weekend! Don't suppose he'd let me miss it!

Bring the wedding to the Dells, we have PA System,, I'll DJ the reception !!! and we can get them free waterpark tickets...hahaha. Congratulations and the best of luck to them and keep in touch as we always have something going on !!!

Okay I got home last night to T-shirts, hats, good bag stuff and a nice banner from a nationally known producer of performance parts...The dash plaque is going to use the Original drawing that was provided to us from Gary Mizer, it is smokin'...16 days and a wake up and HHR Boutique has contacted me as they might have absolutely brand new products to be seen and available at the Dells, even before it makes their site...Maggie from Race and Street sent us a set of chrome tail light trim rings and a sweet clock, we got t-shirts hats, a jacket, gargage signs...I will be the black HHR heading north draggin' my tail because of all of the stuff packed in the HHR !!!...hahaha. I hope to see you there...Pat

yeah, I am working to get the details covered and getting really excited...this is going to be an absolute blast !!! We got more stuff today, from Lucas and Autometer...I am going to need a trailer soon...
