You are too funny! I just figured since I'm really not a good cook anyway and there weren't any "sweet" things (except, maybe me! HA! ), that I'd do up my recipe for "Fanny Mae Fudge"!

Father, I'm right there with ya.Becouse of stomach problems I have to stay away from anything with caffine, so chocolate is out the window. Also had to give up soda becouse of the caffine and carbonaiton, and tea. I have to admit soda was easy, but chocolate is very very difficult to quit. Yes I do cheat on the chocolate once in a while.

We're both diabetic here too! I cheat once in a while too! It's what keeps me going! (Plus, my diatician said if you get the craving, you might as well give in or else you end up gorging yourself!) And if I'm makin' Fanny Mae, I'll be havin' me some. That'll tide me over until Christmas!!

The only good thing about the diabetic thing for me is I was up to about 210 and when I stopped drinking the soda and the sweets went out the window I dropped 35 pounds. The wife told me to bite her! I eat all the time and lose weight. I think it is because I am always on the go at my job and at home! The sugar-free stuff that is out there now is real good and not much on the fattening stuff!!!!!!!
