"School actually I meant like next weekend or maybe the Wednesday before our run, just to get together. The day of the run I will be running around like my head is on fire and my A%# is catchin"...lol. Black Beauty thanks for calling John, but since he has sold Driftwood, should we allow the new owner to actually compete...since John doesn't own it anymore? In my opinion I say yes, but I need input from you guys before I ask John to put me in contact with the new owner...I am also looking for suggestions on identifying the criteria for the three classes, I have some ideas already, but I would like your opinions as well. We are having three classes Stock, Mild Custom and Custom. I would like to see a limited number of small mods allowed to the Stock class, then unlimited small mods plus one major mod to be Mild Custom then anything beyond that would be custom...ie...shorty antenna. locks, additional decals and shaved emblems (4 mods under 100.00 each mod) would be stock...a bunch of small mods (under 100.00) and 1 major mod like wheels and tires, lowering or paint would be Mild Custom and finally if you roll in lowered with new wheels and tires or paint you get to be Custom...Okay opinions and ideas please...

Sounds about right, but does anyone around here have a HHR they've only done 4 mods to!

BTW, what's a decent clean motel close to where we'll be? Need one for Friday and Saturday Night. Thanks, Pat!

Hope the move is going/went well. We're having our basement finished, kitchen remodeled and an additional bathroom put in at the same time! With all the rearranging we have to do we may as well be moving!

Yeshua (Mike) things are moving right along concerning the move, we will be in late Monday evening...hopefully!!! I have found a web site for hotels roadsideamerica.com you can use it to pick a couple of places that you might be interested in and contact me, I will get you all of the specifics, like distance from the show, cleanliness, etc. Washington, will be the closest, but with limited lodging, then East Peoria and finally Peoria, but all within about 15 miles of the show location, I think that Oldschool is staying over Saturday night because he and his wife are planning on going to the gambling boat in east Peoria, I found out that King sized rooms at the hotel at the Par-a-dice casino are 115.00 a night, but other places will be far more reasonable in pricing. A scheduling error by someone else got me out of work this weekend, so I will have time to research any lodging choices that interest you... We can change the number of minor mods allowed, if you think that I was being too stingy, that was why I was asking for opinions, I just wasn't sure. I am also wondering if we reserve the right to adjust classes due to turn out. I want the majority of people happy with the manner in which we award the trophies, some people couldn't care less, and some couldn't care more, so that is why I am asking for everyone's opinion...That's why I asked about Dritfwood, it will be difficult to beat it because of the money spent and the professional workmanship that went into the build, but I would feel kinda' wierd telling the guy that he couldn't compete...Trophies aren't that important to me, this time anyway, but again I want everyone as happy as possible. I would especially like to see guys who are new to the carshow hobby to have an equal chance to win a trophy. I will never forget winning the first one...it was soooo COOL!!!...

I'm pretty proud of what I've done/doing to "Bob" but there's no way it will ever compare to Driftwood. That was a sponsorship-driven custom project. I don't think you can look at anywhere on the exterior without seeing references to sponsors.

Maybe have a class for extreme mods?? I really don't know how any of us could compete against it. Maybe CJ, but that would be it and he's not coming to the best of my knowledge.

Don't think we can swing the $115 for the casino lodging but maybe they have a package deal! I'll check it out.

Can't tell ya how grateful we are for all the hard work ya put into this Pat!!
