Well as you all know I started my recovery stage on 2-28-09 and things are going well I guess. It's been 3 months now and I still can not eat food through my Mouth. I must feed my self 6 bottles of Boost Plus every day and let me tell you all one thing. Being fed by a feeding tube is not fun. You always have to watch where you are when it's time to eat. Well they say I should be eating very soon but I 'll be looking forward to that. You do not know how much I miss eating. I go for my Pet and CT scan next week. I hope every thing will go well. I should know every thing by the Friday of next week 6-5-09.

I would like to say thank you to every one I have received letters, e-mail and even gifts from people I never met. My family keeps telling me that not only is their Dad a Crazy and Funny but their Dad is well liked, Loved and has thousands of Friends and it's all because of this Little car called the Chevrolet HHr and this web site.

Thank you all again for being there for my family and I during my time of need.

Your Z-Man

Rudy

Today was a good day, but first let me say one thing. 17 years ago my sister Sandy was diagnosed with cancer. One year later we all got the good news from the doctor she was cancer free , a survivor per say. unfortunately, She passed 6 months later from the cancer, and that will always be in the back of my mind. Its been 15 years since she has passed. Now Rudy was diagnosed with throat cancer 10 months ago and Tuesday June 2nd, 2009 I went for my PetScan then today i went to see the doctor to receive my result of the petscan. The results being :: clear of cancer in the throat and tongue area. Although this is terrific news for my family, friends, and I there is always apart of me that will remember what the doctors told my sister and then the passing of my sister 6 months later due to her form of cancer. I know 15 years has passed and technology has improved but I have taken expiremental treatment for throat cancer and hope this is the end and dont have to worry about anything else happening. The doctor said due to my mouth still being dry it will take some time till my feeding tube can come out and i can fully eat. But untill then i am used to my routine of a Boost treatment every 3 - 4 hours. Rumor has it, it will take anywhere from 3 months to a year for me to eat normal again but i am determined to make it the shortest amount of time so i can get back to my Pucci's pizza every Friday night. Now I am working on getting my strength back and gaining all my weight back. Today i weighed in at 170 lbs., though i must say I do look good, but i miss the little extra 70 lbs. I hope to be released back to full time duty at work with in the next few months.

At this time I would like to thank:
- my good friends who stuck by me from the start.
- my children : Jessica, Jason, and Julie
- my wife and mom
- most of all my co - workers:
- Cecil, Jimmy, and Dave
- and everyone else in the department
- and most of all my family and friends from all over no matter in this state or country or half way across it

I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for being there for me!

Rudy and Family

HHr forever!

I'm in agreement with Tom! I am ready to see you and when you are ready, Pucci's sound delicious! It's been hectic at the Taylor house, but now that summer is here things are settling in nice. Think of you EVERY day my Man!
