Ya know, you were the reason I drove from the southern tip of Florida to Chicago on my 2006 road trip! Bettcha didn't know that!

Rudy update 10-25-08

Well, Rudy finished his 1st chemo bag Friday. It was a very rough week, he lost 15 pounds, is having a hard time swallowing (the cancer is in his throat), and he basically feels like "poo-poo" (not his word, I just cleaned it up a little bit.) He now has 2 weeks off the bag but will have to have a daily injection.

Rudy Update 10-31-08

I got an email from Rudy, sent last night. He had went back to the Cancer treatment center with his wife on Monday and he had lost so much weight and had no strength that the "poo-poo" hit the fan! They admitted him into the hospital and he was there for 4 days before being released from "jail"! He said he's just found out that the "funny taste" he's been having in his mouth is actually the Chemo. He said he was able to eat some some watermelon last night too!

Thanks to all for keeping Rudy in your thoughts and prayers!

Rudy Report for 11/2

Received another e-mail from Rudy (Z-Man) yesterday and he wanted to let us know that he's now able to eat a little and had just finished a few bowls of cereal.

He's due for weapons quals at his job so he's going to try to head in on Tuesday and knock that out before starting chemo again on the 10th.

He's still making his jokes so let's not forget to keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

You rock Rudy!!

Today was a great day.
I feel great and very hungry, I am going to have a Pizza this evening. I guess the Chemo taste is wearing off due to me going back on Chemo for the 2 nd cycle on Monday. I just hope this 2 nd cycle is better then the 1 st cycle.

Thank you all for being there for me.

Remember every one keep Smiling and laugh more every day. Life is too short.
