First Sonic Finally Opened up in Aurora Today!! For those that Don't know what Sonic is think Mcdonalds Only 100% Better..

I'm alittle excited i use to spend all my Summer's growing up at my Aunt and Uncle's in Arkansas.
Use to stop at the local Sonic almost Daily For some sort of Treat.

Thanks for the info! I have been wanting one around here in Illinois for a long time. That is actually close to where my office is, but I wish there was another one further south in Aurora. I actually just purchased a townhome in Aurora, the closing was this past Friday, which is in the southwest corner of Aurora. But it will still be closer than driving to St. Louis!!! VERY COOL!!!

 

Food wise yes. Ice Cream and special treat like that. I still think there better then DQ and Baskin Robins.

They have "happy hour" here. Which means you get beverages for half price. That makes it kind of nice to stop for a quick drink in the hot weather.

 

I grew up in Oklahoma City where they're based and there's literally one on every street corner. Our high school cheerleaders used to do fund raisers there, so hot. Love me some Route 44 cherry limeade. Don't forget to tip your carhop.

 

I live just outside OKC, In Edmond. I can Walk to the nearest Sonic.

I read that article in the Trib Monday. If you read the whole article it states that they will be opening 5 more locations in the chicago area in the next year. I am super excited about this since I usually only get Sonic when I go to TN to visit family.

Yep, saw the same article Opening this year are Algonquin, and Country Club Hills (where ever that is)

I'll be waiting for the Algonquin Location. Aurora is about 45mins South from me.
