There is a happy medium. Some go too fast but many also go too slow.

I had clear pavment on Interstate 76 yesterday and could see up ahead brakes slamming on. I get up there and I pass a guy like he was sitting still in a Nissan. I looked and I was 5 under the 60 MPH so he had to have been 25-30 MPH at best. At the rate he was going I figure he would create an accident.

Now if the roads had Ice or were bad I would understand but clear and the sun out?

I take the back roads as I am not affraid of them as I am of how others drive. I would rather take my chances on a unplowed back road by myself vs others who get the death grip on a good road.

Suppose to get up to a possible 6" of snow starting tomorrow night into Friday morning. We still have thousands without power. We really don't need this.

We are back to the freezing rain bit with snow on top........ Always makes it so fun to drive, and/or walk. My dog, Thor, is sick and tired of falling down out there

As of now, it's supposed to stay above freezing long enough for the rain to dry up. Can't say that the forcast won't change....

Since typing this, it's changed to a mix of rain/snow!
