Upcoming Weather! Are you Ready?
I took the back roads home to Akron with little drama. I just had to pass a few cars that were doing 5 MPH. It was bad but not that bad.
We have around 10 inches here.
But at least the rubber room is heated......
And on the snowplow deal....... directly across the street from my house is a parking lot/alley that people use as a street (parking lot is DOA because the newpaper shut down) The entryway is one huge pothole and the snowplow driver figured it was a good idea to stop with his back wheels in the hole.... Brilliance can be measured many ways..... unless the candle has burned out.
[QUOTE=hyperv6;536095]Did you have to work the closed down interstate 224. I had heard some were stuck in their cars for over 8 hours.
we cover 224 from exit 9 to 11. 224 was still open by us but we had some people that work with us that were stuck up by barberton

They actually closed a stretch of I75 down by my house because there were so many accidents this morning. Of course school didn't close, even though they needed to. Luckily I don't have class. Shipment was even called off for work since the trucks couldn't get anywhere yesterday!

I live just a few miles from where it was close. I did not know it was close till late Monday night.
I was on 76 E near Summit racing and there were crashes from Kent to Akron again. Just at exit 29 there were 3 crashes and 7 cars and trucks crunched.
I got off the freeway near the Goodyear headquarters and took side roads home. Not much drama the as they were moving and my tires were working well.

Yeah my guys up in PA made the mistake of asking me how the weather was in NC yesterday. The moment "sunny and 72" left my mouth, I realized that the next time I see them, I'd better be prepared to run like hell.
