Vacation in KY
I live just a few miles Mammoth Cave and I can tell you there is a lot in this area.
Mammoth Cave National Park-Cave tours and lots of trails to hike on( I like Cedar Sink)
In Horse Cave you have Kentucky Down under.
In Cave City there is Guntown Mountain, Jessie James Riding stables, Jellystone Park, the new Dinosaur museum, several antique malls.
Outside of Glasgow you have Barren River State Park where the Highland Games are held.
In Bowling Green you have the National Corvette Museum which recently expanded, and lots and lots of good restaurants, I recommend Longhorn Steakhouse.
There is a Railroad museum and ride in Hodgenville. Not to n lots of historic sites like Lincoln's birthplace and boyhood home.
There are lots of decent Motels and some nice Bed and Breakfasts locally too.
