Removing the SS Exhaust tip?

Well, I cut off the exhaust and ran around for two days dumped right after the resonator. It is LOUD. Wasn't going to keep it this way but was curious on how it would sound with an automatic. Today, I welded the exhaust back up and put some 2 inch pipe right out of the muffler and welded the stock tip back on. It is a major PITA to weld when the car isn't on a hoist!!! Sticks about a 1/4" farther than the stock tip did before the catless downpipe was installed. Hopefully, this curbs that nasty soot from building up so fast in the back.

Yes it does after the polish i used the one step sealer by wiping them down with the removal rag before discarding it for a new one it works out that you need 4 to do the car just right. I haven't had any problems just washing them with my blond boars hair brush since. before it was a task to get them clean as you probably know.
