Looks very good! I did mine a couple weekends back. Was very surprised how easy it was to get everything off and finished.

Where does one get the vinyl overlay for this?

I checked on Ebay, but saw a bunch of lame ones, I wouldn't mind putting a 'SS' overlay on mine

 

I went super simple with mine...



Picked up the template and used high temp paint to black it out. Turned out pretty nice and clean.

If you have any artistic inclination, go to a sign shop and get some adhesive vinyl. You need a piece at least 11 1/2" x 2 1/8" to cover the face of the lens.

I had some laying around from another project, so I drew and cut my own.

This goes on the inside of the window... NOT the light lens... so don't panic when it come as a reversed image.

Thats how I ordered mine, but got it from VinzDecals. Much easier than putting it on the actual brake light.
