Sure thing! One in regular fiberglass would be just as easy as the carbon fiber one. I've began the mold building process. I'm still hoping to have the mold complete by the end of this month. I'll post picks as soon as I can.

I also have heard from a moderator or web admin yet. Hopefully one of them can get back to me soon.

Thanks for the interest.

Hey guys,

I'm working on the mold. I should have it done by this week. In order to make the mold correctly I actually had to cut into my spoiler! It should be repairable, but it will take a little work.

Sorry for the delay guys. I'm working a lot of hours at work building an unmanned vehicle. I can't tell you if it's land or air, but it is made out of carbon fiber. Plus I have a five month old son. I'll post pics later this week of the molding process. I'm actually taking the spoiler to work tomorrow. The last time I did composite work in the basement I received a scolding from the wife.

Thanks for the interest.

Quick update. I've added all the flanges I need to the spoiler yesterday. I'm heading into work tomorrow to lay the first side of the mold up. I had to use some aluminum flashing and actually cut into my spoiler to get a proper parting line.

I have an idea for the carbon hood scoop too. But I think it won't be until summer for me to work on that one.

Thanks again for the interest.

Hey guys,

Mold update. I didn't like how the first mold looked. I'm laying up a new one this week. Thanks.

Quick update,

I just pulled the top half of the mold off of the buck today and it looks great! I can't wait to make the lower half of the mold this week. I tried a new gel coat for the first layer of the mold and turned out great.

Here's a teaser picture of the mold building process.
