I removed the useless stupid switches above the radio and filled in the holes. I painted it the same color as the outside black met! = ) Think I found a spot for my red chevy logo.

Below is the finished HHR minus the next graphic going over the top of the black. Still working on the design for them.

Here is the concept Art Below.

Here is the actual Car. I think they came out pretty close. I changed a few things while I was taping it off. Mostly just the angles and lengths!

Funny. I was just looking at that same Duplicolor universal black metallic yesterday. My wife wants to redue her Colorado Green 2000 Cavalier Z24 hood, roof and trunk in a metallic black because the clear on all 3 panles is spotting badly. I was going to do a universal black witha metallic clear till I saw that and now saw your project. Now I think I'll just use that and a standard clear.

Yeah, the paint is fantastic. Just make sure you scuff the smooth paint areas and level out the spotting sections.

Thanks man. I think when I go to get my next truck I am just going to keep my HHR and keep modifying it. New Hood, New Grille, Hood Scoop, Custom Interior and a smooth rear lift gate.
