Custom Designs for my HHR

Custom Designs for my HHR!!!

I have had my 2006 HHR for about 3 weeks when Bambie decided to give the front a little kiss. So, I plan on using the insurance money to redesign my HHR.
Here are the samples.

Here is the damage below on my baby! = (

I will also post my interior modifications as well. I think any HHR owner can agree. GM, has no clue how to make a cup holder for this car. Not to mention the chrome around the Auto Shifter does not stay in place. = )

to the forum RICKYVB!

Sorry to hear that Bambi picked on you, but that top design is my favorite, good luck with the redo and post up some photos of the finished product.

Thanks for the Welcome!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I love the blue paint on this car and the Blue and White concept I posted is my favorite so far.

Kinda thinking that the Black and Blue concept would be sick if I used Flat Black Gun Metal for the bottom. I think the rims would show off more with that color scheme.

The headlight design is based off the new Chevy Sonic.

I fixed this issue before on my 2008 HHR. Seems as though Gm did not measure correctly and put enough of a bend on the tabs.

Last time I just heated up the tabs with a heat gun and bent them outwards. Bad part is, the plastic they used has little to no reducer in it. Very fragile when snapping back in place.
While it did not break on installation, the next time I removed it to replace the rubber shifter slider. One tab cracked off. Guess it was to tight. = )

If you like the blacked out light look but don't want to deal with the "fun" of trying to make Sonic lights work, there are always the DEPO black headlight assemblies for the HHR. They run somewhere between $165-185 for a pair.

Now those are sick. Might take them pictures and create a new Concept with them. Thanks for the info. They look great!

Glad you like 'em, very popular mod here, and very easy to do.

I drew this up quickly. Seems like they would work just as well. Not to mention keep the aerodynamics the same as factory.

Looks really great!

Now grab your paint gun and masking tape already.

Just joshing ya with the last part Ricky, but it really looks super nice, we'll all be wanting to see some pics of the work in progress.
