Just joshing ya with the last part Ricky, but it really looks super nice, we'll all be wanting to see some pics of the work in progress.
I have to track down the fender first locally! = )

Based on the experiences of some folks here, go for either a new genuine GM fender, or a good used fender off of a salvaged HHR. Pattern parts for the HHR are of spotty quality and there have been numerous issues with fit and durability.

Yeah, I was planning on a Salvage yard Blue HHR Fender. I've heard bad things about aftermarket Parts for the HHR. Which is sad now that GM, dropped the vehicle. = (

Is that vinyl over the headlights in your picture or paint? I like that look. Gives it a more aggressive stance. Kinda makes it look more like a newer model with some chevy cruze looking light angles.

to the Forum, RickyVB, from a fellow Western Marylander.

You've got some great ideas on what you would like to see. As you've already found out, there's some great ideas on this site from some great people. Enjoy!

I like the looks of the SS front bumper and have decided if I ever have a front run-in with one of our local wildlife, I'll pay the extra for the bodyshop to convert to the SS front end. With the other mods you have planned, an SS front end would look killer and unique.
