Eibachs

Looking to get Eibachs shortly to drop my HHR on, what kind of shocks and struts do those of you with Eibachs recommend?

Thanks

Kevin

Best is probably the GM SS shocks and struts, but order from cratenginedepot for cheaper.

According to Eibach's website....

"Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs are custom-made for your specific year, make and model vehicle

Unique progressive spring design lowers your ride 1" to 1½"

The Eibach Pro Kit drops your center of gravity, which reduces acceleration squat, trims body roll in corners, ends excessive nose-dive when braking, and improves overall handling

Lowers the wheel well over the tire, eliminating the extra space for hot performance looks

Enhances aerodynamics for reduced drag and improved fuel economy—download the results and see how Eibach improved a 2011 Civic Si's MPGs by 7.5% (And who gives a rat's rump about gas mileage in a Civic here?!?)

4 springs included in the Eibach Pro Kit

Installing Eibach Springs takes 3-5 hours and may require a spring compressor

**Compatible with your stock shocks, though performance of the Pro Kit is accentuated by Eibach Pro Dampers**

Part of the famed Eibach Pro System Plus performance suspension, along with Pro Dampers, the Eibach Anti-Roll Kit and more

Your Eibach Pro Kit carries a 1,000,000-mile warranty"

From what I've read, they will give you a tooth rattling ride, so be prepared.

Eibach springs

Several months ago Eibach used my HHR to redesign the new rear springs for the HHR as I understand they were originaly designed for the Cobalt, Eibach phoned me to say they had the new rear springs ready and wanted me to come to their shop to install , but could not tell me how much they would lower my HHR, as I have Proggress Sporty Springs which lower the front 2 inches and the rear 2 1/2 inches so I have not had Eibach install,
