FINALLY, I Bought Em!
On either of the sites selling these, you can see read and save the instructions, you Seal them with the Auto/Marine tube of sealer Included in the Installation Tool Kit.
Once you Seal in the areas around the OEM tail light openings, you won't have any leaks. A "U" shaped bead goes on the quarter panel area as well.
Pics are posted here, and even a Link to the instructions.
Take some Time to fully reread this thread, you'll find what you want to know.
Leakage- After washing my Panel, and I Dry her off, water keeps dripping from the doors onto my running boards. I gotta dry them a few times.
I Wasn't "avoiding" anything, but showing Morticia with a dirty film on her, that the touchless car washes leave on Black unless you hand washed it the day before.

My youngest woke up this morning feeling sick now. Now it's the whole dang house of us sick.
At least we'll all get over it at about the same time. Hopefully.
If I feel this bad tomorrow, I won't be going to my Moms for her home made cooking, and that Sucks, I feel that *****ty .
Thanks again for the compliments, I do Love this little Black Panel.

There is a hole in the bottom, I think it's a Drain hole, take a look at the first page or two were I posted the pics when they arrived, you'll see it.
Ask away! This is a pretty costly add on, I will do my best to Honestly answer whatever questions you have here.
Better to be Informed, and Know Exactly what to expect.

I headed on over to Dukes Drive In, smaller crowd tonight, maybe 15-20 cars.
It started to drizzle out then stopped, that threat of rain keeps the cars Garaged.
I redried Morticia off with a leather chamois and headed on over, only about a 10 minute drive.
Morticia turned some heads, I did the slow drive around both sides as customary, and then parked, went inside and bought another Dukes T-Shirt, and they now had a nice full sized Poster so I grabbed one of them too.
Came out and several guys were looking her over and asking me a bunch of questions.
Morticia was Well recieved. The '55 Chevy Tail Lights on an HHR, was a big hit and several thought it was very cool.

First 2 pics are just off the web, I think the one with all the cars was taken last year, not sure.
3rd pic is my New Poster and New T-Shirt. Had to get another one, my Macaw chewed a hole in the shoulder on my other one.

The Link is a Promo Video from July 2011, Lots of nice cars.

so i re-read this thread several times without finding info on Dan and then BAM........found it.
so here's a personal preference question:what made you decide to not go with the "v" badges?
growing up my folks each had a 55 Chev and that's one thing i think of when i think 55 Chevy......that and the "airplane" hood ornament.
of course, i've de-badged my HHR, so i may have answered my own question

The "V's" on the back of a '55 Chevy meant it Had a V-8 in it.
1955 was the first year Chevy offered the V-8, My '55 Bel Air 2 door hardtop, has the V-8 so IT gets the "V's".

Not my HHR with a 4 banger, even after the Supercharger is install it won't be sporting the "V's" or "SS' emblems.
All Stock Emblems are left on my HHR Panel. And will remain on it.

ah, that makes sense.
it'd really make people think though, wouldn't it? lol
i shot dan an email inquiring about the '54 kit........imo that would look better on a silver hhr
also, i almost bought a dark green '54 with front visor years ago....speaking of visors, what's the status of yours?
