i shot dan an email inquiring about the '54 kit........imo that would look better on a silver hhr
also, i almost bought a dark green '54 with front visor years ago....speaking of visors, what's the status of yours?
Status is Waiting on 3 days worth of warmer temps with overnites at least 60 degrees and no rain for at least 3 days/nights.

The adhesive glues to the glass in the center and needs the 3 days cure time, Parked for 3 days before driving it.

No sence in pushing the install with colder temps and rain, April showers bring May flowers as they say.

I don't want it letting loose at 80MPH on the highway.

"I Wasn't "avoiding" anything, but showing Morticia with a dirty film on her, that the touchless car washes leave on Black unless you hand washed it the day before".

A&P- you take words too personal.. I was just sayin..Good to see the pics tho..

From the rear looks cool..

& fist year 55 V-8 was the 265" small block..

bowtieboy-

I dig the 53-54 chevys also.. my 1st ride was a 53 Two-Ten Deluxe..(not the one in the pic, but same colors & a 2 door).. 235" straight 6...

Like the look from the back...seems kinda abrupt from the side. Might look kinda neat if the housing could be run upmto the back doors and down the wheel in place of the rock guards. Sounds like ur getting it where u want it!
