My husband has friends in the paint business. He himself use to own a hot rod design business.

There is a BIG difference in painting wood grain and ghost anything. If you want it done right be prepared to put out some major cash.

I agree, I've seen some really messed up jobs. If I had an old beater car I wouldn't mind some good ol boys practicing on it. But I really like my little HHR. :-)
